It's Girl Scout cookie season in Western New York and this year you can get your favorite cookies with your smartphone.

While scouts will still go door-to-door with carts of all your favorites, the popular fundraising is also giving girls and their customers a new way to order through the Girl Scout Cookie Finder App.

It's available on iTunes and Google Play markets.

"It's really important and in these ways, in addition to the financial literacy skills and entrepreneurial skills our girls are learning in the cookie program, they're also learning online marketing, e-commerce and website management, which are also important skills,” said Incoming CEO Allison Wilcox.

All the proceeds support troops in the area, though each troop gets to decide how they want to use that funding.

Sales run until March 31.
