The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the two victims who were seriously injured in a car accident in the town of Sweden Saturday morning.

Travis Schumacher, 23, remains in critical condition at the hospital after deputies say he lost control of his car on Salmon Creek Road around 3 a.m.

They say Schumacher went off the road into a ravine before he hit a tree.

Despite suffering neck and internal injuries, the passenger in the car, 22-year-old Jordan Blocker, was able to get out and found help at a nearby home.

Blocker has been discharged from the hospital.

Deputies continue to investigate the crash.
