ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester city council voted to demolish a long standing eye sore on the city's south side.

The vacant Terrence building on the property of the Rochester Psychiatric Center will be torn down.

In its place will go a mixed-use development including commercial space, residential apartments and townhouses, and a four-story hotel.

A walking trail will also be built.

Robert Morgan and Ralph DiTucci will lead the project.

There's no word yet when the tower will be demolished.
