A local animal rescue is giving pet owners a chance to show off their dogs and cats in their upcoming calendar.
Melissa Chapman with Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue says right now the final submissions for their 2018 calendar fundraising contest are being accepted.
The winning pet will be featured in the calendar.
It's 25 dollars to enter the contest and Chapman says that money will help rescued pets.
"Even if you can't rescue, you can't foster, you can't volunteer, that's okay. You can submit a picture of you and just submit a picture of you and your cat or a picture of you and your dog. It's only 25 dollars. That 25 dollars is going to go towards medical bills, vet bills, food, shelter. It's going to help dogs from Louie's Legacy and cats in ways you can't even comprehend," said Chapman.
