GREECE, N.Y. -- Another lawsuit has been filed against a Greece restaurant where hundreds of people fell ill after eating Thanksgiving dinner.
The Monroe County Health Department said it was likely the gravy that sickened people.
The suit filed by attorney's representing 90-year-old Mary Fazio claim the elderly woman fell ill after eating at the Golden Ponds Restaurant and Party House.
The suit was filed Thursday in State Supreme Court. It alleges Fazio was forced to be hospitalized with severe nausea and diarrhea following her meal at the Long Pond Road restaurant.
Attorneys say surgeons later removed the elderly woman's colon and she's now forced to use a colostomy-bag for the remainder of her life.
The suit is in addition to one previously filed on behalf of dozens of other people who fell ill. Both suits seek an undisclosed amount of damages.
Golden Ponds did not immediately return a request for comment.
