A guilty verdict was handed down Friday in the murder trial of a Rochester teen who prosecutors say shot a 19-year-old man in the head. A jury convicted Jordan Evans, 18, of Second Degree Murder in the 2015 shooting death of Keith Brown.

The incident happened on the afternoon of June 30 at the corner of St. Paul and Norton Streets. Brown died two days later at Strong Hospital.

Police say witnesses and video surveillance from businesses in the area helped them identify Evans as the suspect.

He faces a maximum penalty of 25 years to life in state prison when he is sentenced on February 28.
