TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- Gov. Cuomo made a stop in Buffalo Wednesday morning to announce that General Motors will invest $334 million in Western New York, and some of that money is headed to Rochester.

At the Buffalo area news conference, Cuomo and GM officials announced that approximately $5.9 million will be spent on future powertrain components.

This will be at the GM Rochester Components Holdings plant.

Approximately 35 percent of the salaried workforce at GM Rochester are RIT graduates.
