ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Genesee Brewery has plenty of job openings on tap this year.
Job seekers came out Saturday for the first of several job fairs.
The brewery opened its doors Saturday morning looking to fill about 25 positions. The company says it will hold at least one more job fair in a few weeks with hopes to hire about a hundred people by the end of summer. Jobs range from packaging and warehouse to the ever-growing brewing department.
"The Genesee Beer brand is doing well, we have some extensions with the Genesee Brew House series," said Harvey Beldner of Genesee Human Resources. "Also our Seagrams products, both our Seagrams Escapes, but also we have some hard sodas and spiked teas that are new and will hopefully do well for us in the market."
Individuals interested in these roles are encouraged to also apply online at the North American Breweries’ website.
