ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fans of the Brazilian steakhouse, Espada, in Village Gate, are getting a serving of disappointment. The restaurant's Facebook page says its closing on Sunday, April 3.
The owners say the vacant space will be taken over by their popular and thriving restaurant, The Gate House.
Mike Corsan and his wife Kristen Flores-Fratto own both restaurants. They say the current location of The Gate House was just too small, but the new location will allow for a bigger dining area and more variety.
As for the old Gate House location, the couple say they plan to renovate and re-open the space.
