You have until 10 p.m. Wednesday to buy your chance at $500 million.
Wednesday's Powerball jackpot was originally $400 million, but with strong sales, it quickly increased. It's the largest lottery jackpot we've seen in almost a year.
The lump sum cash prize for the $500 million would be nearly $306 million, and after taxes more than $190 million.
"I think a lot of people are interested, quite a few people are interested. But you need a little luck, you don't need a dream, you need luck," said Marvin Raphael of Rochester.
"If you have millions of dollars, you have millions of problems. The more money you make, you'll just have so many people wanting to invest your money here, invest your money here, put it in your bank, put it in my bank," said Vincent Beam of Rochester.
No one has won the Powerball jackpot since November 4.
