Funeral Arrange­ments Set for Teen Hiker Killed After Falling at Plotter Kill Preserve

The hiker who died after falling at Rotterdam's Plotter Kill Nature Preserve will be laid to rest Monday.

Carly Sinnott, 17, was a junior at Mekeel Christian Academy, and had plans to pursue a career in the healthcare field. She was an honor student and was part of her school's vocal group and volleyball team.

Calling hours will be held this Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Rexford. The funeral service will be Monday, at 10a.m., also at Faith Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the "Carly Joan Sinnott Memorial Fund," at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home.
