ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing Sunday night.

Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Third and Lark Streets.

According to police, two men, ages 25 and 35, received stabbed wounds following an argument.

They were taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect Edward Williams, 25, had been involved in an ongoing dispute with the two victims before the stabbings.

Williams was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was arraigned and taken to Albany County jail.
