ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A Rochester man has died from injuries after being shot on Rochester's west side early Friday morning.

Rochester police said Daryl King, 24, was found inside a car on Post Avenue shortly after 3:45 a.m. When they arrived they said he had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body.  

He was taken from the scene to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died. An investigation is continuing. 

Police have not yet made any arrests.
