The Mets have placed pitcher Jacob deGrom on the family emergency list.
The team says it's due to complications with his baby, who was born on Monday in Florida.
DeGrom will be away from the team for at least three days.
Logan Verrett will start in his place on Tuesday in Philadelphia.
The Mets recalled infielder Eric Campbell to take deGrom's place on the roster.
DeGrom has not pitched since the Mets' home opener on April 8.
He left that game due to a right lat strain.
