Four Rochester-area breweries have teamed up to release four beers in honor of three National Guard soldiers killed in a helicopter crash in Mendon.

Heroes Brewing, Rising Storm Brewing, Brindle Haus Brewing and Triphammer Bierwerks teamed up to create the custom four-pack of beer.

Each brewery crafted a beer to honor Chief Warrant Officers Steve Skoda, Christian Koch and Daniel Prial. The pack includes Tags of Honor India Pale Ale, CW5 Skoda Munich Helles Lager, CW4 Koch Mango Pineapple Kolsch and CW2 Prial Pale Ale.

Each beer is created and based on their individual tastes.

"We wanna be part of the community and honor the community any way we can and this fit into that motif, and we embraced it wholeheartedly and we’re honored to be a part of it," Brindle Haus Representative Peter Waughtel said.

A total of $6 from every $22 four pack will be donated to causes selected by the families.

If you didn’t get a chance to preorder a four pack, you can still get one at any of the participating breweries.

The three officers died on January 20 when their Black Hawk helicopter went down in a Mendon field. The NTSB has yet to rule on the cause of the crash.
