GREECE, N.Y. — Over the summer, a mother, frantic and screaming, pulled up to the Ridge Road Fire Department in Greece and told firefighters her baby wasn't breathing.

Firefighters quickly started life-saving measures and continued them with ambulance crews on the way to the hospital. Another firefighter drove the mom safely to the hospital.

Their actions that day saved the infant's life. They were recently recognized by Monroe County.
