ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A holiday tradition returns to Golisano Children's hospital on Wednesday.

Rochester Police squad cars and other fire and ambulance companies will roll their lights outside the hospital as part of the return of Good Night Lights.

The five-minute flashing salute brings young patients and their families to windows for a smile and a wave.

Good Night Lights will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and through the first four Wednesdays of December. It is the third year the RPD's led the effort.
