ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Greg Polisseni has passed away.

The artist, designer, and philanthropist had a broad impact on the community.

The works he passionately created ranged from Rochester's animals on parade fundraiser, to the fashion line you can find in major department stores — and the film he produced that mirrored Rochester's double initial murders.

Greg is the son of Wanda and Gene Polisseni, the Paychex pioneer.

His charitable expressions were as well-known as the art he created. From a dirt bike he gave a local boy who'd had his stolen, to the money he raised to fund solar pumps that would help elephants in Zimbabwe.

Greg Polisseni was 50 years old.
