Stokoe Farms in Scottsville partnered with Camp Good Days to give campers a chance to experience a day on the farm.

The day gave campers and their families a chance to see one another, since Camp Good Days had to be canceled this summer.

They got to meet some of the animals, use the newly expanded low ropes course, bounce pillow, zip lines, and more.

One woman, whose son has pediatric cancer, says she's thankful she can see her child can experience these special activities despite the pandemic.

"Anytime he has something that is like a normal childhood experience for us is such a blessing," said Kim Winter. "It's something we don't take for granted, and it's something I think camp is very aware of providing kids those opportunities to just feel normal and not worry about the medical piece of things, and they really just focus on making it so much fun for the kids."

The day was paid for by the proceeds from Stokoe Farm's "Sunflower Experience" bloom sales.
