Julia Roberts is in Rochester this week to receive the George Eastman Award, recognizing those who have made a distinguished contribution to cinema.

She started out her visit Wednesday night at the Dryden Theatre. Roberts introduced the 2002 movie Full Frontal, starring Roberts and directed by Steven Soderbergh, to a sold-out crowd.

"I love this movie, which Steven thinks everyone else hates," Roberts said. "I think I chose it tonight because if you did see it and didn't like it maybe you should see it again."

Roberts will join a long list of top actors and directors when she receives the George Eastman Award at a private ceremony and sold-out gala Thursday night.
