ROCHESTER, N.Y. — At least 170 residents at Hill Haven Rehabilitation and Transitional Care Center will need to be transferred or sent home after it was announced the facility will close this fall.

Rochester Regional Health has operated Hill Haven for more than 40 years.

RRH says it's conducting complete assessments of residents with their families, doctors and health care providers to determine medical needs and preferences for accommodations.

Residents will then be matched with an available facility.

In a statement, RRH says it is committed to ensuring 100% of its 350 employees can hold positions in its healthcare system.
