ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Huther Doyle Memorial Institute rolled out its new Substance Abuse Mobile Treatment Unit Wednesday.

The new treatment unit allows the institute to help underserved communities.

It will follow a daily schedule focusing on towns and villages on the west side of Monroe County.

The president and CEO says she's looking to get the institute out of its comfort zone and into the community.

"I want to disrupt the system," said Huther Doyle President and CEO Kelly Reed. "I want to get us out of our cozy offices and onto the van and out to the community, hitting the streets and meeting people where they are, where they need us."

The unit is set to hit the road this month.
