ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Friday is Earth Day and some local businesses have set up the perfect way for people to get outside around Rochester and enjoy the day.

Earth ROCs is a community scavenger hunt that is now in its second year.

It will take participants around the city, showing off its beautiful outside spaces and they might find some prizes along the way.

Organizers Adelle Reale and Erin Turpin say last year, during the pandemic, they just wanted to find a way to get people outside and celebrate Earth Day and local artists. Both are artists and small business owners.

The scavenger hunt starts at 11 a.m. Friday and prizes can be redeemed at Heroes Brewing Company from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
