How about a very unique way to take in the colors of fall?

Just a half-hour south of the New York/Pennsylvania border, look for the Kinzua Bridge State Park in the Allegheny National Forest. The railroad bridge that once crossed over the Kinzua Gorge was partially taken down by a tornado in 2003.

Today, what remains has been transformed into a 225-foot high pedestrian walkway complete with a glass floor! Free admission to the park, open everyday now through Thanksgiving, then closed on Sundays.

A 3-hour ride out of Rochester, 1 1/2 hours out of Buffalo. For GPS be sure to enter Kinzua Bridge State Park.
