ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester City School District superintendent is putting the district's realignment plan on hold.
It would have impacted 11 schools next school year.
Now, only one school, the Leadership Academy for Young Men, will close.
It will also move Northeast College Prep to the former Charlotte High School campus.
The district will also keep the Rochester International Academy at the former Jefferson High School building.
It will resume public hearings on school realignment in the spring.
