ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The University of Rochester says it has been able to secure rapid testing kits, and now, all undergrads on the school's River Campus and Eastman School of Music will be required to take a COVID-19 test before departing campus before the Thanksgiving break.

The mandatory testing for undergrads is added to the optional testing program for off-campus students, grad students, and international students.

The university's health services will test all residential students in the field house between Wednesday, November 16 and Wednesday, November 25, using rapid-result tests that the university says will deliver results in 15 minutes.

Students need to sign up online for a testing appointment. That signup process goes live Friday afternoon.
