NEWARK, N.Y. — A Newark school is closing after a staff member and student tested positive for COVID-19.

Kelley School is closed until November 2.

A staff member who was last at the school on October 16 tested positive for coronavirus. 

The school also says a student tested positive Wednesday, resulting in a classroom quarantining. 

With the building closed, the school is transitioning to remote learning. 

No other schools in the district will close.
