A major change is here for families that attend Our Lady of Mercy.
School officials say the school is splitting off its middle school grades into a new campus at the site of the former Siena Catholic Academy on East Avenue.
The new campus will be known as Mercy East and the older campus is now Mercy Blossom, which will retain the high school classes.
The school says Mercy East has larger classrooms, so students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will attend classes in-person five days a week this September.
The school says senior high school students at Mercy Blossom will use a hybrid model for fall learning.
