Ambroz has been charged with second-degree attempted criminal sex act, according to authorities. Canandaigua police say Ambroz tried to meet up with a minor for sex but was instead met by an undercover detective.

Further charges against Ambroz are pending, police say.

Officials with the Walworth Fire Department say they are aware of the situation.

Ambroz was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to be in court on July 28.
