ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man who previously pleaded guilty for his role in a 2012 fatal shooting at the age of 15 is now facing a murder charge for a homicide that took place last spring.

Police say Treyquan Davis, 24, shot and killed Jorge Luis Bonilla in a parking lot off Lake Avenue last June.

Officers say they later identified him as a suspect, eventually taking him into custody during a separate incident in December in which they allege he was driving drunk and fled from police.

Davis remains in custody until his next court date.

Davis was previously arrested for murder in the fatal shooting of Alexander Marquez on Bauer Street in 2012.

He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 40 months in a juvenile detention facility.

Davis was released in July 2019.
