WEBSTER, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man and two young children were involved in a fatal crash in Webster Wednesday morning.

State troopers say Sheldon Wethington was trying to exit Route 104 in Webster on the hard road ramp.

They say his car left the shoulder and crossed over two lanes of an access road before hitting a ditch and flipping over several times. 

Spectrum News is told Wethington was pronounced dead at the hospital.

State troopers say a 1 year old and a 4 year old were strapped into their child safety seats, and were taken to the hospital with only minor injuries. 

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
