SODUS, N.Y. -- An investigation into a boating accident on Sodus Bay is complete, and charges have been filed.
On June 11th Police responded to a call of a boat crashed into the break wall separating Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay.
Investigators say Lawrence Weigele was speeding and intoxicated.
He and his wife were both seriously injured.
Weigele plead not guilty to charges of vehicular assault and operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol.
He was remanded to the Wayne County jail on bail set to10-thousand dollar cash or 20-thousand dollar bond.
