One person is dead and two others are injured after weekend shootings in a neighborhood on Rochester's north east side.

Police are not saying whether the three shootings have any connection.

Officers say a 30-year-old woman was inside her home Sunday night when a suspect shot into the building on Webster Ave around 7:30 p.m.

She was taken to URMC with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Medical staff say she's expected to survive.

This took place in the same area as a homicide on Saturday, where a memorial has been set up at the corner.

Investigators say a 21-year-old was shot around 4 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Police say no arrests have been made and are asking for the public's help in that case.

Anyone with info is asked to call 911.

Rochester police are also investigating a shooting, just a few hundred yards away, from Sunday afternoon.

A 28-year-old was shot on Bay Street. He's expected to recover.
