Editor’s Note: We have an update to this story. Penfield court records indicate that in November of 2019, Michael Celso was found not guilty of DWI, but guilty of refusing to take a breathalyzer test. Monroe County Sheriff's Office records state that at the time of the incident, Mr. Celso was taken to a hospital for what they reported as minor cuts.

A Walworth man escaped serious injury after flipping his pickup truck in Penfield overnight.

Michael Celso, 41, is accused of driving drunk at the time.

Officials from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office say Celso was driving on Penfield Road around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday when he went off the road and hit an enbankment.

That caused the entire truck to flip onto its roof near Salt Road.

Celso was taken to the hospital for minor cuts, then arrested for DWI.

That area has since opened back up to traffic.
