Court documents reveal some of the evidence collected in the case of an athletic trainer who worked in the Geneseo Central School District and who faces child porn charges.

Austin Pratt, 30, is accused of having a sexual encounter with a child under the age of 17 in Geneseo late last year.

Pratt appeared in court Thursday on federal charges of enticing a minor and production of child pornography. He was released with multiple conditions, including 24/7 home confinement. He's scheduled to return to court in May.

According to police, Pratt worked at FF Thompson's Rehabilitation Services Center and was contracted out as an athletic trainer for the school district.

A criminal complaint made public Wednesday reveals that a teen's parents notified State Police after they found text messages between Pratt and their daughter. Prosecutors say conversations between the two began as an inqury into an injury the victim suffered, but led to an exchange of nude photos between the two on Instagram.

The Conseus man and victim exchanged the following messages, according to prosecutors:

Pratt: "Nothing would happen to you lol. My life would be ruined"

Teen: "You get divorce papers and 20 years in jail."

Pratt: “Yuppppp... gotta be super sneaky.”

Subsequently, according to the complaint, Pratt and the victim engaged in sexual intercourse at the teen's home.

Pratt was employed by UR Medicine since 2015 and was then fired immediately after the company learned of his arrest, according to FF Thompson. In a statement, the company said it had no reason to believe Pratt was involved in other instances of "improper behavior."
