A former McQuaid Jesuit High school principal has been named on a list of priests facing credible accusations of sexual abuse of a minor.

McQuaid Jesuit High School officials say the claims were when Father Cornelius Carr worked elsewhere. He was principal at McQuaid from 1960 to 1964.

There were two separate allegations against him when he worked at schools in New Orleans and Florida in the 70s and 90s, respectively. Carr died five years ago.

McQuaid says another priest, Father Roy Drake, taught math and science at McQuaid from 1957 to 1960. He was later accused of abuse while at schools in the Bronx and in Maine. Drake died in 2008.

McQuaid officials say they has no record of sexual misconduct by either Fathers Carr or Drake while they were there.
