BRIGHTON, N.Y. -- The pedestrian seriously injured in a car crash last week has died.
Brighton Police say 59-year-old Robert Greene was on the sidewalk on South Clinton Avenue Friday when an oncoming car jumped the curb and hit him.
It all happened in front of McQuaid High School.
Police say the driver, 40-year-old Sally Schmidt, then continued into the school's parking lot and hit a parked vehicle.
Both were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where Greene later died.
Schmidt is still hospitalized and was issued two traffic tickets.
