A man seriously injured when he was struck by a car over the weekend has died.

Brighton Police say 59-year-old Robert Greene was walking on the sidewalk on South Clinton Avenue Friday night when an oncoming car jumped the curb and struck him in front of McQuaid High School.

Police say the driver, 40-year-old Sally Schmidt, then continued into the school's parking lot and hit a parked vehicle. Both were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

Schmidt is still hospitalized and was issued two traffic tickets.
