Guests age 5-11 heading to see the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres or Rochester Americans will now be required to have at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, the teams announced Wednesday.
It applies to Highmark Stadium, KeyBank Center and the Blue Cross Arena.
The requirement is in accordance with the New York state mandate and also applies to concerts and other events held inside those venues.
Fans age 12 and older were previously required to show proof of vaccination. The requirement has been lowered to age 5 now that the vaccines are approved for children in that age group.
