EAST ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The East Rochester Fire Department Carnival has become the latest event to fall victim to the pandemic.

The department's largest fundraiser is once again canceled this summer.

The news comes as several other carnivals and festivals have been recently canceled due to current state guidelines.

There will be other ways to support the department, either through its annual fund drive or chicken barbecue in July.
