Slavic Pentecostal Church in Parma is closed until further notice after a possible COVID-19 outbreak there.

On Tuesday, the front door of the church sported a sign that reads, "The church is closed until further notice. We ask all who attended service on August 23 to comply with the CDC and Monroe County Health Department and self-quarantine. Thank you and God bless."

The health department is asking the same after officials say five people from five different households connected to the church tested positive for the virus.

If you attended morning services at the church Sunday, August 23, officials say to quarantine and contact the health department at 585-753-5555.
