The Monroe County Health Department announced on Friday a positive COVID-19 exposure they believe is connected to Tokyo Japanese Restaurant at Hylan Drive in Henrietta.

Officials believe the exposure occurred between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday, August 1. The department says there was an unknown number of occupants at the establishment during the timeframe.

Health officials are recommending anyone who was at the restaurant on that date and is experiencing any common COVID symptoms get tested for COVID-19, self-quarantine for 14 days from the onset of symptoms, and contact their primary care physician.

Anyone who was at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant on August 1, but is not experiencing symptoms, is being asked to contact the Monroe County Department of Public Health at 585-753-5555 to discuss their risk and see if testing is an appropriate step.
