ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The city of Rochester held its annual lighting of the downtown Liberty Pole.
Attendees were joined by holiday costumed characters and other local officials.
Directly following the lighting, people joined in on a family parade to the Roc Holiday Village at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park
At the park, families had the chance to meet Santa, and enjoy the many holiday additions that the Roc Holiday Village has to offer.
The Roc Holiday Village is a 13-day festival that goes until Dec. 19.
