ROCHESTER, N.Y. — One local woman is turning 105 years old.
Connie Andolino, a resident at Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, celebrated her birthday Monday.
This birthday isn't just special because of her milestone age. Andolino dealt with COVID-19 last year and said it "wasn't so bad."
Andolino also lived through the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic.
She offered some tips on living a long life.
"I try to do the right thing. And be kind, you're very kind. No drinking or smoking."
It was a big day for the rehab center as another resident celebrated turning 104 years old, though she was too busy partying to comment.
