ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Human Rights Campaign representatives joined U.S. Congressman Joe Morelle Wednesday evening to support the mission of ending discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.

"The Human Rights Campaign is critically important as we continue to push for equality and equity for the LGBTQ+ community," Morelle said.

Spectrum presented the Human Rights Campaign with a donation of $2,500.

The Human Rights Campaign says that money will go towards fighting for or against bills that are either beneficial or harmful to the LGBTQ+ community.

Spectrum is owned by Charter Communications, the parent company of Spectrum News 1.
