CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Guests were lined up Saturday morning in Canandaigua, eagerly awaiting the opening of Roseland Waterpark's 20th season.

Last year the park was closed due to the pandemic, but this year it's fully functional after a 22 month hiatus.

“Seeing guests back together in the waves enjoying themselves made the wait these last 22 months’ worth it,” Roseland Waterpark Operations Manager Ryan Fuller said in a statement. “We’re so happy to see everyone back at the park making memories together.”

Anyone interested in going to the waterpark can save $5 when they purchase their admission tickets, if they do so three or more days before they visit.

The park asks that visitors comply with current CDC and New York state COVID-19 guidelines, and says that it is committed to providing a safe environment this summer.
