ROCHESTER, N.Y. — One organization is putting up food stands across Rochester to make sure those less fortunate can have some food.
The activist group Liberate All Black Lives, also known as LABL, put up food stands outside three different R-Centers in Rochester. Their mission is to give those who are less fortunate free food. They say anybody can pick up or donate food.
"Nobody is going to judge you, so that's the best thing about it. You can come at any time. They're always open. There's usually stuff always in them, so it's accessible to anybody, said Kai Lipton, a member of LABL.
LABL activists say many people have come out to donate food at the R-Centers.
They have food stands outside of the Flint Street, the Edgerton and David F. Gantt Rec Centers.
