A popular ice cream parlor is now open for the season.

iKON Ice Cream opened on Main Street in Scottsville for the season Friday — with precautions in place, like markings on the ground and using the walk-up window.

"People were calling weeks ago, asking when we were going to open and posting," owner Tiffany Nicolosi said. "It makes us feel good because we know that we bring happiness to people."

IKON is open Friday through Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m.
