Pittsford's Molinich brothers are not only paving the way for the University at Buffalo's running backs but Section V football players.

Glynn leading the way for the trio, has already graduated from UB and is currently coaching and teaching in Buffalo. Jake will be a senior after helping lead the Bulls to a Bahamas Bowl title in December. Wyatt will be a redshirt freshman on this year's squad.

Their father, Keith, is the head football coach at Pittsford and is also a guidance counselor in the district. "I send countless kids there on a yearly basis. You look a the economic value of that option and with my family, my kids are fullbacks and you're not typically going to scholarship a fullback out of high school, the value's incredible and I think that's why so many kids of have jumped on board and looked at the PWO (preferred walk on), as an option," he says.

Jake and Wyatt are two of 14 Section 5 players on the spring roster at UB and all three brothers play fullback, a position that doesn't get much notice. Keith says, "We just teach 'em to block, we gotta catch the ball every once in awhile in practice but I always laugh at my two, listen, you're not getting into the game to catch footballs,  (Victor grad) Zac Lefebvre's 6'6" and he can run like a deer, you're not gonna throw the ball to Jake," adding that one of Jake's favorite lines is, "I am nothing and he says it with a smirk on his face."

UB is scheduled to open the season September 5th at Kansas State.
