The Pegulas are expanding their empire down the Thruway.
Their deal with the city of Rochester for the Blue Cross Arena has been finalized.
Pegula Sports and Entertainment affiliate, Rochester Arena LLC will pay the city of Rochester $60,000 per year, and will run the arena's concessions, ticketing and booking events.
RA will pay operating expenses, and half of the police department's costs related to arena events.
It would keep the revenue generated from operations, but the city will continue to be responsible for the building.
If approved by the city council, the agreement would run from January 1st 2019 to December 31st 2033.
The agreement also includes RA managing the Court Street parking lot and paying the city $100,000 annually to manage the lot.
The management agreement comes two months after the city announced $18 million in renovations at the arena.
